Job Details
Hiring for a Salesforce Developer @ Reston, VA for a contract position on W2.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce applications using Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, and Visualforce
- Customize standard and custom objects, workflows, validation rules, and process automation
- Develop and consume Salesforce APIs, including REST and SOAP web services
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems using APIs and middleware tools
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following Salesforce best practices
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and deployment using Salesforce tools and CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with administrators, architects, and business users to gather requirements and implement solutions
- Ensure system security, data integrity, and performance optimization
- Provide ongoing support, enhancements, and troubleshooting
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Development
- Proficiency in:
- Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Apex Programming
- Visualforce Pages
- Experience working with Salesforce APIs
- REST APIs
- SOAP APIs
- Knowledge of Salesforce data model, security model, and governor limits
- Experience with integrations and web services
- Familiarity with SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce deployment tools
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Platform Developer I or II Certification
- Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud or Service/ Sales Cloud
- Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Experience with Git or other version control tools
- Prior experience working in enterprise environments
Education
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
