Job Details

Hiring for a Salesforce Developer @ Reston, VA for a contract position on W2.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce applications using Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, and Visualforce
  • Customize standard and custom objects, workflows, validation rules, and process automation
  • Develop and consume Salesforce APIs, including REST and SOAP web services
  • Integrate Salesforce with external systems using APIs and middleware tools
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following Salesforce best practices
  • Perform unit testing, debugging, and deployment using Salesforce tools and CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborate with administrators, architects, and business users to gather requirements and implement solutions
  • Ensure system security, data integrity, and performance optimization
  • Provide ongoing support, enhancements, and troubleshooting
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Development
  • Proficiency in:
    • Lightning Web Components (LWC)
    • Apex Programming
    • Visualforce Pages
  • Experience working with Salesforce APIs
    • REST APIs
    • SOAP APIs
  • Knowledge of Salesforce data model, security model, and governor limits
  • Experience with integrations and web services
  • Familiarity with SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce deployment tools
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies
Preferred Qualifications
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I or II Certification
  • Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud or Service/ Sales Cloud
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS
  • Experience with Git or other version control tools
  • Prior experience working in enterprise environments
Education
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
