The Sr Data Scientist will work in teams addressing statistical, machine / deep learning, computer vision, and GenAI in an industrial IT organization. In this role, you will contribute to the development and deployment of modern AI technologies and spearheading its adoption with the GEV Power enterprise.

Roles and Responsibilities

As a Sr Data Scientist, you will be an integral part of our team's mission to advancing the knowledge and skills of GEV Power in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data Science. This role involves collaborating closely with the Data Science team, CIO teams, functional partners, and the Advanced Research Center to design and deliver comprehensive learning programs. The Sr Data Scientist will ensure that training aligns with the development of AI tools at GE Vernova. The roles and responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with experienced Data Scientists to design and implement training programs that equip employees with essential AI concepts, including Generative AI, Computer Vision and Quantitative Machine Learning.
• Develop curriculum content on the application, including the lifecycles of AI.
• Facilitate hands-on learning experiences, develop written and recorded material that foster proficiency in AI.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists to integrate advanced topics like deep learning, reinforcement learning, and natural language processing into the curriculum.
• Customize training delivery to meet diverse learning needs, incorporating online and in-person modalities, and ensuring accessibility for global teams.
• Work with other Technical Learning Leaders to establish metrics for assessing the effectiveness of AI training programs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Network with other GE Vernova businesses to leverage resources, share best practices, and promote a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Education Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)

2 Years of Relevant Industry Experience

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $97,500.00 - 130,000.00 USD per year. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, geographic location, and skill set.
This position is also eligible for a 10% annual performance bonus. This position will stay open on the career website until at least 5/17/2025.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%,120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
