Commercial HVAC Service Technician

What You'll Do

As a key member of our field service team, you'll be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of commercial HVAC systems. You'll work independently, solve complex technical issues, and deliver top-notch service that keeps our customers happy.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on systems like air-cooled chillers, rooftop units, split systems, and VRF systems
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control issues using industry-standard tools and techniques
  • Conduct system inspections and performance testing to ensure everything meets manufacturer specs and industry standards
  • Communicate clearly with customers about findings, recommendations, and next steps
  • Log service activities and system performance using digital platforms
  • Keep your company vehicle, tools, and equipment clean and in good working order
  • Follow all safety protocols and company policies while on job sites
  • Participate in our on-call rotation and respond to emergency service requests when needed

What You Bring

We're looking for someone with solid experience and a strong work ethic who's ready to hit the ground running:
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience servicing commercial HVAC systems
  • Deep understanding of HVAC systems, controls, and refrigerant cycles
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Professional appearance and solid communication skills
  • Willingness to join the union (if not already a member)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $105000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
This is an hourly paid role. Direct placement. Guaranteed raise of $4/hr for the next 2 years. ElitAire pays fringe benefits on top of hourly pay.
Company car, gas card, all tools provided.
Relocation package for out of state candidates

This is a fully onsite position in Westerville,OH.
