Backend or Full Stack Engineer (Associate)

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this Albany, New York, United States-based position is $95000-$145000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.

You will:
- Collaborate with a global cross functional team in building customer-centric products
- Analyze existing software to identify areas of improvement and provide estimates for implementing new features
- Follow standard software development guidelines and best practices
- Create and maintain test plans, documentation and automated tests for all technical changes
- Grow your technical skillset by seeking out cross-training and knowledge advancement opportunities
- Participate in user story refinement, technical design, code reviews and the team's Agile process
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts
You are:

Basic Qualifications:
- Degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent industry experience
- 3+ years of experience with Java or other related Object Oriented development language
- Experience with microservices architecture and API development
- Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases
- Ability to establish trusted partnerships with cross functional team members and product owners
Preferred Qualifications:
- Source Control Management systems (i.e., SVN, Git)
- An understanding of common application architecture design patterns
- Experience working in an Agile environment
Salary Range
