Description
We are looking for an experienced EMR Analyst to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. In this role, you will focus on supporting and optimizing electronic medical record systems, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across healthcare applications. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Configure, maintain, and optimize electronic medical record (EMR) systems to meet organizational needs.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to understand workflow requirements and recommend system improvements.
Analyze and resolve technical issues related to EMR applications and integrations.
Conduct system testing and validation to ensure proper functionality and compliance.
Provide training and support to end-users to enhance system utilization.
Assist in the implementation of Epic Ancillary and Specialty systems applications.
Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations and processes.
Participate in change management processes to ensure smooth transitions during system updates.
Work closely with IT teams to integrate EMR solutions with other healthcare systems.
Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies in all system activities.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in EMR systems or healthcare IT.
Familiarity with Epic applications, particularly Epic Ancillary and Specialty systems, is preferred.
Proven ability to pass the Epic pre-assessment test.
Strong understanding of cloud technologies, CRM, and business intelligence tools.
Knowledge of Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) and Epic Willow is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams.
