Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled .NET Application Developer to join our team in developing scalable and compliant applications for the Texas Medicaid system. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing distributed solutions, integrating enterprise platforms, and working in Agile environments.
< data-start="959" data-end="989">Key Responsibilities:</>Application Development & Integration
Design, develop, test, and deploy .NET applications using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core/Framework.
Build scalable, distributed microservices using Microsoft Service Fabric.
Integrate applications with Micro Focus PPM and OnBase systems for project and document management.
Develop and consume RESTful APIs for seamless system integration.
Follow best coding practices including unit testing, code reviews, and documentation.
Agile Collaboration
Actively participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies including PI planning, sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Work closely with product owners, analysts, QA, and other developers to deliver high-value features.
Contribute to technical design discussions and effort estimation.
Compliance & Documentation
Ensure compliance with Texas Medicaid, HIPAA, and healthcare IT regulations.
Maintain detailed technical documentation such as design specs and integration guides.
Support security, audit, and compliance requirements.
Support & Troubleshooting
Provide production support, resolve performance issues, and troubleshoot application and integration failures.
Manage incidents related to Service Fabric, Micro Focus PPM, and OnBase.
Participate in the on-call support rotation when required.
Continuous Improvement
Stay updated on the latest trends in .NET technologies, cloud platforms, and Medicaid systems.
Recommend improvements in development tools, patterns, and integration strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core/Framework.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Service Fabric for distributed systems.
Experience integrating .NET apps with Micro Focus PPM and OnBase.
Proficient in REST API development and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Solid understanding of SQL Server and relational databases.
Experience in Agile development teams (SAFe preferred).
Familiarity with version control tools like Git, Azure DevOps.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
Certifications in Microsoft, SAFe, Service Fabric, OnBase, or Micro Focus PPM.
Front-end experience with Angular/React for Medicaid portals.
Exposure to Azure/AWS cloud services and CI/CD pipelines.
Understanding of security best practices for healthcare data.
Experience with reporting tools like SSRS and Power BI.
Knowledge of accessibility standards (Section 508, WCAG).
Previous experience on state government or Medicaid IT projects.
