Title: Desktop Support Contractor
Location: Hartford, CT
Assignment Length: 6 months
Compensation: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Image and configure laptops and other devices for new hires, refreshes, and break/fix replacements.
• Physically manage inventory: unbox, move, and organize equipment in the build area.
• Update asset tracking systems, SharePoint sites, and depot databases.
• Prepare and ship devices to end users, including packaging and labeling.
• Wipe and reset iPhones for disposal or refurbishment.
• Set up devices on the network and ensure readiness for deployment.
• Collaborate with internal support teams (e.g., ISC) to coordinate logistics and resolve issues.
• Perform other depot-related tasks as needed to support operational success.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Experience imaging and deploying Windows-based devices.
• Familiarity with asset management and inventory tracking systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow standard operating procedures.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and asset databases.
• Familiarity with iPhone data wiping and mobile device management (MDM) tools.
• Previous experience in a depot, IT support, or logistics environment.
• Understanding of basic networking concepts and device setup.
