Summary: IT Program Managers oversee multiple related projects to achieve strategic business goals. They ensure projects align with organizational priorities, manage resources, and monitor program performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define program objectives, scope, and success metrics.
- Oversee multiple project managers and teams.
- Coordinate resources and budgets across projects.
- Monitor program performance and report to executives.
- Identify program risks and implement mitigation plans.
- Ensure projects adhere to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Facilitate stakeholder communication and engagement.
- Implement program governance and best practices.
- Conduct program evaluations and continuous improvement.
- Align program outcomes with organizational strategy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s in IT, Business, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in IT program or project management.
- Proven leadership and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of program management frameworks and tools.
Preferred Skills/Duties:
- PgMP, PMP, or Agile certifications.
- Experience in enterprise-level IT programs.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to mentor project and program managers.
