The position involves a structured selection process which includes a technical screening conducted by the implementing partner followed by a technical interview with the client.

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer specializing in C and Nonstop technologies to join our client’s Core Acquiring Front End engineering team within the Global Business Solutions Payment Acceptance division. This team is responsible for mission-critical platforms that drive the payment acquiring business. The systems handle over three hundred fifty million payment transactions daily with peak loads exceeding eight thousand transactions per second, all while delivering millisecond response times for some of the largest merchants in the United States.

The environment is a high-performance online transaction processing landscape that demands a professional with strong problem-solving skills, capable of balancing platform stability and resilience with the adoption of modern engineering practices and solutions.

Primary Responsibilities
Hands-on development of online transaction processing applications written in C and TAL on the HP NonStop platform
Delivering high-quality code to integration testing, certification, and production environments
Automating testing and deployment activities through continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines, including performing quality engineering functions when required
Designing, building, and supporting assigned applications or platforms
Owning technical stories, participating in code reviews, and providing production support
Designing efficient, reliable, and reusable technical solutions that meet performance expectations
Collaborating effectively with DevOps teams, production support teams, and peer platform teams

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent practical experience
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with peers and senior leadership
Over seven years of experience in software engineering roles with expertise in C and TAL
Proficiency in Enscribe, Pathway, DDL, and SQL MP
Experience in payment processing systems
Proven track record of engineering online transaction processing applications

Preferred Skills and Experience
Experience in SQL MX and OSS
Knowledge of building solutions on public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
