Why This Role Matters

You ll support the delivery of critical healthcare insights by translating raw data into actionable reports. This will inform decision-making across care teams, administrators, and leadership during a fast-paced, short-term project.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, run, and optimize SQL queries to extract and transform healthcare-related data (claims, utilization, enrollment, etc.) for reporting and analysis.

  • Design and implement ETL workflows to ingest, cleanse, and prepare data for business intelligence consumption.

  • Extract and process data in Excel for analysis, validation, and formatting before building visualizations in Tableau.

  • Build, enhance, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau, ensuring performance, accuracy, and clarity.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to capture reporting requirements and deliver meaningful insights.

  • Validate data quality, reconcile discrepancies, and document findings for auditability.

  • Provide ad-hoc support and rapid troubleshooting in a dynamic project environment.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Required (2+ years):

    • Proven experience with SQL (running queries, writing advanced scripts).

    • Hands-on experience with ETL processes and data integration.

    • Proficiency in Tableau for developing dashboards and visual reports.

    • Familiarity with healthcare data especially claims, EMR/EHR, enrollment, or utilization metrics.

  • Preferred:

    • Experience with healthcare-specific reporting (e.g., HEDIS, utilization KPIs, PMPM).

    • Background in creating data pipelines or maintaining data warehousing environments.

    • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with remote teams and stakeholders.
