Overview
Responsible for the operational implementation and maintenance of access control policies and processes to ensure optimal security of user authentication (both internal and outside users), access rights, access restrictions, account profiles, and passwords. Growing an understanding of business needs and objectives. Solve a range of mostly straightforward problems with some increased scope and complexity. Developing professional with basic skill set and proficiency with procedures and techniques.

Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, and support continuous monitoring solutions for user identity verification and privilege validation.
- Implement and support SSO and MFA solutions.
- Implement and support RBAC, API Access Management, Identity Provider (IDP), and Federation solutions.
- Partner with business and technical teams to provide technical oversight for data protection programs.
- Oversee daily operational activities for access request queue management, including prioritization and escalation.
- Collaborate with team members and participate in team projects and initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or the equivalent combination of education, training or experience
- 2-5 years of experience in security engineering
- Basic understanding of business and operating environment
- Experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions
- Experience with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) solutions
- Experience with Identity Provider (IDP) and Federation solutions
- Experience with API Access Management solutions
- Basic skill with programming languages Python or JavaScript
- Basic skill with database management systems PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Experience with cloud-based technologies AWS or Azure
- Basic knowledge of identity standards OAuth, OpenID Connect, or SAML
