Overview
Our client is seeking a Boomi Integration Specialist. The ideal candidate will be a highly experienced professional with 5 to 8 years of expertise in integrating business applications using Boomi. This role is a great opportunity to design, develop, and maintain robust integration solutions, providing critical support to various business functions. The position requires a strong background in Boomi integrations, including hands-on experience with Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) and Business-to-Business (B2B) integrations, as well as a focus on process automation that combines automated tasks with human collaboration.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions using Boomi.
Design, develop, and maintain recipes and Genies using Workato.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Integrate various business applications, including CRM, HR, Finance, LMS, Legal, Budget & Forecast, and business communication and collaboration platforms using Boomi.
Develop and optimize SQL and PL SQL queries for database interactions.
Provide production support for integration solutions, ensuring high availability and performance.
Build modern, interactive, and visually rich user interfaces for Slack apps, slash commands, and Slack API.
Develop integrations with all communication protocols (SFTP, REST & SOAP APIs, application-specific connectors).
Automate business processes by integrating human-in-the-loop workflows using Boomi.
Required Skills & Experience
5 to 8 years of hands-on experience with Boomi integration.
2 to 3 years of experience in building complex recipes and Agents (Genies) with Workato.
At least 6 years of experience in integrating business applications (CRM, HR, Lease, WMS, Bank, Finance/Accounting, Billing&Revenue, Budget & planning, LMS, and collaboration platforms) using Boomi.
At least 4+ years of experience in production support for integration solutions.
At least 4+ years of experience in Financial integrations like AP, AR invoice, GL Accounting/Journals, and Bank/treasury integration.
At least 4+ years of experience in Payroll integrations.
At least 4+ years of experience in SCM integration.
At least 3-5 years of experience in SQL and PL SQL for any database.
At least 3 to 5 years of experience using SFTP and HTTP integrations.
At least 2+ years of experience in Legal integrations.
At least 4+ years of experience in writing custom scripting using Java, Groovy, Java script, or Python.
Experience with Git and GitHub for code development, version control, and managing repositories, branches, and pull requests.
Expertise in the Boomi platform and a strong understanding of process automation principles.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills & Experience
Familiarity with other integration tools and technologies.
Knowledge of best practices in integration and data management.
