What You'll Do

• Architect, design, and develop RESTful API endpoints with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with front-end engineers to build dynamic, responsive, and user-centric web applications using React.
• Define robust data models and database schemas (relational or NoSQL), emphasizing data integrity and performance.
• Design and implement event-driven architectures (preferably using Kafka).
• Leverage AWS cloud services to build and deploy scalable applications.
• Create and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation for application architecture, design, and ongoing maintenance.
• Estimate tasks and delivery timelines for effective sprint planning and execution.
• Participate in on-call rotation to ensure system stability and uptime.
• Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of professional experience working with medium/large complex code bases.
• Proven experience in full stack development.
• Strong object-oriented development skills, with a preference for Golang.
• Experience in REST API design and implementation.
• Highly proficient in HTML, CSS, and the JavaScript ecosystem, with deep expertise in React.
• Experience with event-driven architecture, preferably using Kafka.
• Strong understanding of AWS cloud services.
• Knowledgeable in UI/UX design principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Desire to collaborate and develop strong, positive team relationships.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.

Bonus Points

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Experience with database management, cloud technologies (AWS), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with automated deployment tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins).
• Experience with Agile development methodologies such as SAFe or Scrum.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $90.00/hr.
