Job Title: Research Program Manager ABOUT THIS FEATURED OPPORTUNITY
Location: Remote
Pay Range: $50-$70/hr
The Risk Research team conducts research focused on privacy and other risk-related areas, providing best practices and operational support to enhance research effectiveness.
As a Research Program Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting internal research programs by coordinating initiatives that generate user insights for product development. Your responsibilities will span managing rolling research, maintaining research communities and libraries, and overseeing vendor partnerships. This role requires a high level of organization, communication, and independent problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU
- Coordinate with researchers and vendors to support ongoing user feedback programs

Serve as the primary liaison with external partners for contracts, purchase orders, and invoicing

Manage internal review processes and contract submissions for vendor engagements

Support the research team throughout the contract and compliance process

Proactively manage research programs with external partners (e.g., rolling research, research communities)

Ensure compliance with legal and financial policies for vendor-led research

Develop and maintain flexible, efficient processes that support research operations

Identify potential risks early and apply mitigation strategies to keep initiatives on track

Maintain clear communication with partners to support healthy, long-term relationships

Organize and catalog research findings to ensure accessibility across teams

Draft internal communications and updates to support project visibility and engagement
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS
- 5+ years of experience in program or project management, ideally supporting research teams

Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and follow-through

Excellent written and verbal communication, adaptable for different stakeholders

Experience collaborating with UX/design or research functions

Experience managing vendor relationships

Experience working with globally distributed teams
Preferred Qualifications

Experience building and maintaining centralized research repositories and SOP documentation

Ability to evaluate and recommend vendor cost estimates for research initiatives

Familiarity with launching research programs, including participant panels and workflow design

Understanding of procurement processes including guided buying and Statements of Work (SOWs)
