Hybrid: 3 days remote, 2 days onsite
The Python/Data Warehouse Developer will design and develop data interface solutions per user's requirements. Primary responsibilities will be working within the Data Warehouse team and writing APIs and ETL scripts to load data into Snowflake's cloud data warehouse, and interface with other systems.

The ideal candidate will have four-plus years of experience in Python development utilizing Snowflake and AWS services, have strong API experience, and experience working in financial services or other highly regulated security-sensitive environments.
Requirements :

  • 3+ years of Python development and an in-depth understanding of Python Design Patterns and programming/objects

  • 5+ years SQL Server (or similar)

  • Strong API experience and experience securing APIs to protect sensitive data.

  • Dataset Security experience (regulated environment experience preferred – Financial, Medical, Government)

  • 3+ years of cloud experience utilizing AWS services such as S3, Lambda, SQS, SNS, AppFlow, etc.

  • Experience with extensive (million+) data records and understanding of utilizing different strategies to load data into the AWS ecosystem.

  • 3+ years of Snowflake experience, prefer multiple development tool experience (e.g., Matillion for ETL, Visual Studio, Snowflake, Power BI, Git, etc.)

  • Continuous Integration/Delivery experience

Preferred :

  • Python Panda Package and DataFrame experience

  • Experience in Power BI Report Development

  • Matillion for ETL

  • Salesforce knowledge

  • Experience working in financial services or other highly regulated environment (ex HIPPA)

Responsibilities:

  • Work within the DW team, writing APIs and ETL Scripts to Load Data into Snowflake's cloud DW and interface with other systems.

  • Design, prototype, and develop Python services in AWS Lambdas.

  • Collaborate effectively across development, DevOps, project management teams, and business users.

  • Work within and interface with Matillion for ETL, Salesforce, and AWS Lambda environments.

  • Supports applications with an understanding of system integration, test planning, and troubleshooting.
