RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Juno Beach, FL that is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join their team.In this role, the Project Engineer will lead complex engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. They will work closely with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders to deliver innovative engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage PV projects from interconnection through permitting
* Manage EORs, EPCs, and other consultants to ensure all technical deliverables are completed and align with Scope of Work requirements and Best Practices
* Write and manage Scopes of Works, participate in contract negotiations
* Review designs, studies, and drawings for conformance with Scopes of Work, AHJ requirements, etc.
* Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
* Oversee project documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards
* Identify and mitigate risks to project success
* Support project financing due diligence
* Provide value engineering solutions to reduce cost
* Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members
* Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders
* Lead conversations with Transmission Owners and ISOs to support technical requirements
* Support and answer RFIs
REQUIREMENTS:
* 6+ years of experience is requried
* To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
* Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
