Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infor XA Administrator to join their team in Amityville, NY. This technical role is crucial for maintaining and enhancing the performance of our Infor XA ERP system. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system administration, particularly within the IBM iSeries environment. This position offers the opportunity to work with a leading company in the security systems industry, providing robust support and innovative solutions to our IT infrastructure.


Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular system maintenance tasks, including backup, recovery, and file maintenance to ensure high system availability and performance.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade system software and hardware components to enhance enterprise system capabilities.
  • Manage and support Infor XA ERP system modules such as Customer Order Management, Material Requirements Planning, and Inventory Management.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues related to Infor XA and associated systems.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT infrastructure, system configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with IT team members and end-users to optimize workflows and user experiences in the Infor XA environment.
  • Provide technical support and training to users on Infor XA functionalities and best practices.
  • Monitor system performance, gather data, and compile reports on system functionality and usage.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with IBM iSeries (AS/400).
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Infor XA ERP system, including advanced module management.
  • Strong understanding of Customer Order Management, Procurement, and Inventory Management processes within Infor XA.
  • Proven ability in SQL and database management for troubleshooting and system optimization.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members and end-users.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Availability to work full-time from our Amityville, NY location.
