**Role Overview
The OpenText xECM Maintenance and Support Engineer is responsible for the ongoing health, performance, and optimization of OpenText Extended ECM (xECM) systems. This role ensures seamless integration with enterprise platforms (e.g., SAP, Microsoft), resolves technical issues, and supports users across business units.
**Key Responsibilities
- System Monitoring & Maintenance
- Monitor xECM system performance, logs, and alerts
- Perform routine maintenance, patching, and upgrades
- Issue Resolution & Troubleshooting
- Diagnose and resolve application, integration, and performance issues
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for escalated support
- User Support & Training
- Provide Level 2/3 support to business users
- Integration Management
- Maintain and troubleshoot integrations with SAP (S/4HANA), Microsoft SharePoint, and other platforms
- Ensure data consistency and workflow reliability
- Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and change logs
- Ensure compliance with IT security and data governance policies
- Continuous Improvement
- Recommend system enhancements and automation opportunities
- Upgrade OT ECM components
- Content and Data Migration from and to OT ECM/Content Server
**Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of experience in OpenText xECM, Content Server administration
- Strong understanding of ECM architecture, metadata models, and permissions
- Experience with SAP xECM integration
- Proficiency in SQL, Web Services, and OpenText APIs
- Familiarity with incident management tools
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Hands-on experience with ABBYY FlexiCapture will be added advantage
**Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- OpenText certifications (e.g., xECM for SAP, Content Server)
- ITIL Foundation certification is a plus
