Description: Our client is currently seeking a Senior Transmission Engineer
This is a Full-Time W2 only position.

Position Overview

This is a client-facing role responsible for leading work procurement efforts and managing moderate to complex geotechnical engineering projects within the transmission and power infrastructure sector. The position ensures client expectations are met or exceeded through exceptional leadership and technical guidance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop scopes of work and prepare proposals for geotechnical projects in transmission and power infrastructure.
  • Manage projects including scope, schedule, budget, and safety.
  • Support client relationships and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Coordinate staff and resources with regional operations leaders.
  • Prepare geotechnical engineering reports and perform engineering analyses.
  • Review and ensure quality of work performed by junior engineers.
  • Lead technical/project teams and mentor junior staff.
  • Assist in building teams for transmission and power infrastructure projects.
Required Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, time-critical environment.
  • Fundamental understanding of geology and geotechnical performance mechanisms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint).
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving history.
Required Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in geotechnical, civil, or related engineering.
  • Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license (must obtain licensure in multiple states).
  • 5+ years of geotechnical engineering experience in transmission/power infrastructure.
  • Experience with large-scale construction projects preferred.
  • Consulting firm experience and existing client relationships preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
