RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Multimedia Specialist in McLean, VA.
Duties Include:
* Multimedia Specialist develops graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products
* Utilizes request management tools to provide swift, high quality customer support for communication requests
* Coordinates with UI/UX designer in Knowledge Management, to ensure graphics products provide an engaging and user-friendly experience
* Creates graphic designs for a variety of written and digital products
* Develops design concepts and implements designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content that will be presented online
* As a Multimedia Specialist, you will ensure products conform to all production standards, copywrite laws, accessibility compliance requirements, public release clearances
* Conducts technical quality checks
* Manages an approved concept and build in HTML/CSS so it complies with responsive design principles
* Provides Cartography support, as needed, to design thematic and reference maps
REQUIREMENTS:
* Requires BA/BS and 3+ years of experience or no degree and 9 years of experience
* Requires some experience with Premier/After Effects
* Requires some experience with UI/UX
* Requires some experience with Photography, motion graphic and/or video production
Requires experience with the following:
* Leading the development of graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products
* Mentoring and trains junior staff
* Creating graphics products that provide an engaging and user-friendly experience
* Creating graphic designs for a variety of written and digital products
* Developing design concepts and implements designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content presented online
* Ensuring products conform to all production standards, copywrite laws, accessibility compliance requirements, public release clearances
* Conducting technical quality checks
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
