Trade Desktop Support Analyst

Target salary is: $90k - $120k

Bachelors degree in computer science is a requirement

5 years heavy unix unix commands sql mysql backend frontend application support any trade application a big plus linux performance lost files python perl for automation if they don t have trade support they have to come from a financial firm or highly regulated environment doing backend application linux support with knowledge of frontend

CS Degree is a must, five years plus supporting linux on the frontend and linux on the backend trade application support on frontend and connected to the backend linux performance log files python and perl for automation if they do not have trade support they must have financial ap support on front and back production support must have strong unix/linux

L1 thru L3 level support of service requests/incidents in a professional and timely manner. Customer service and production support are the most important aspects of this role.

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and alerting of critical trading system environments
  • Proactive identification and resolution of production issues
  • Development of tools and driving efficiency/stability improvements/ automation with scripting
  • Troubleshooting and resolution of complex systems issues
  • Production Deployments of all infrastructure components Off hours pager support on a rotating schedule

Required

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Strong working knowledge of UNIX environment/Unix commands
  • Database knowledge with sql - MySQL, InfluxDB
  • Strong scripting knowledge - Python/Bash
  • Minimum B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
