RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an AI Governance Lead in Spring, TX.

Overview:
We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented AI Governance Lead to support and enhance our enterprise AI governance framework. This role is pivotal in aligning AI initiatives with compliance requirements, operational workflows, and ethical standards. The ideal candidate will have a product management mindset, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to reconcile complex processes across cross-functional teams.

With over 500 active AI projects and a rapidly expanding footprint, this role will ensure governance processes are traceable, scalable, and responsive to regulatory and internal compliance needs. This is a hands-on role focused on fulfillment and execution-not policy creation-working closely with compliance, IT, and business teams.

Key Responsibilities
* AI Intake Process Reconciliation: Align and integrate AI intake workflows with existing operational processes to ensure traceability and compliance
* Gap Analysis & Process Alignment: Conduct comparative analysis between internal practices and established AI governance frameworks; Identify gaps and recommend improvements
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Compliance, Regulatory, and IT teams to embed governance requirements into AI project lifecycles
* Use Case Inventory & Framework Development: Maintain a comprehensive inventory of AI use cases; Develop frameworks to evaluate, prioritize, and monitor AI deployments
* Governance Mailbox Support: Manage and respond to inquiries via the AI Governance Mailbox, ensuring timely issue resolution and escalation
* Compliance Fulfillment: Execute compliance-driven tasks such as assigning Unique Identifying Numbers (UINs) to AI projects, ensuring format adherence and traceability

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of experience in AI governance, compliance, risk management, or operational process management
* Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable tasks
* Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and ethical standards related to AI
* Experience working cross-functionally with compliance, IT, and business stakeholders
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:
* Product management experience or mindset, especially in enterprise environments
* Experience with ServiceNow or similar workflow platforms
* Understanding of AI lifecycle management and governance tooling
* Exposure to large-scale AI deployments and enterprise compliance operations

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
