Title: Oracle Apex Developer -
Duration: 12 Months Contract Role

IMPORTANT Note for this ROLE
Comments/Special Instructions Assignment will last 6 months from the start date. Hybrid schedule - 3 days onsite required. Please reference the Qualification Notes document attached for additional details. Two case study tasks will be part of the hiring process one remote and one in-person to assess real-world problem-solving and technical capabilities. The team values collaboration, accountability, and clear communication, especially when working with cross-functional stakeholders in finance and IT. Candidates should be comfortable working in a structured corporate environment with clear expectations and deadlines. The ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions is highly valued. While Oracle APEX is the preferred platform, candidates with experience in other low-code or web development frameworks may be considered if they demonstrate strong foundational skills. Candidates should be open to learning and adapting to internal tools and processes, including documentation standards and security protocols.
Position Type: Contract Hybrid (3 Days in Office Required, 2 Days Remote)
Required:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field (master s preferred).
- 10+ years of experience developing web-based applications,
- 10+ years of experience developing Oracle APEX or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in:
- SQL and PL/SQL
- HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and database design.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
- Prior experience in a finance-related environment or working with financial data is a plus but not required.
- Technology Skills:
- Oracle APEX Development and similar platforms.
- Experience building and maintaining applications using Oracle APEX.
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional APEX solutions.
- SQL & PL/SQL
- Strong command of database querying and procedural logic.
- Essential for backend development, data manipulation, and performance optimization.
- Web Technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS)
- Required for creating dynamic, user-friendly interfaces.
- Enables customization and enhancement of APEX front-end components.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle APEX applications to support finance operations and reporting.
- Build user-friendly interfaces and dashboards using modern web technologies.
- Develop and optimize database structures and PL/SQL packages for financial data processing.
- Integrate applications with internal and external systems using RESTful APIs.
- Automate financial workflows and reporting processes.
- Conduct testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure reliability and accuracy.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides.
- Ensure application security and compliance with corporate and financial data policies.
- Collaborate with finance stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Candidates should have experience developing web-based applications, ideally using Oracle APEX or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, and CSS are required.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, database design, and application integration is preferred, not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with business stakeholders.
