Job Details
We are in need of a Power BI Developer who has experience with Microsoft Fabric, specifically experience building a model off of the Lakehouse environment within MS Fabric (i.e., pulling data for a dashboard from the Lakehouse in MS Fabric).
Required:
- This position is pivotal in supporting internal analytics teams and crafting external customer-facing dashboards that meet both functional and aesthetic needs.
- The ideal candidate will be instrumental in guiding analysts through the new data environment, facilitating a seamless transition from legacy systems to a new, modern, structured data warehouse operating on Microsoft Fabric.
- Key responsibilities include building initial external dashboards, offering technical mentorship to analysts, and identifying and resolving data-related issues to optimize performance and accuracy.
- The successful candidate will possess a solid understanding of Power BI, particularly in modeling, report optimization, and development of semantic layers, with an emphasis on building external-customer dashboards and reports.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, including the use of notebooks with Python and Spark, is essential.
- We are looking for a team player with a strong background in dashboard development for external users and an awareness of the nuances between Azure and Fabric Power BI.
