Job Title: Senior Network Engineer Highview Imaging Application
Location: Annapolis, MD (On-site)
Duration: Long Term Contract (up to 10 years)
Job Summary:
The Senior Network Engineer will provide advanced network engineering, systems integration, and application support across a multi-site infrastructure environment. This position requires significant expertise with Highview Imaging Application, WAN/LAN design, cloud technologies, and end-user support for a large-scale enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain secure LAN/WAN environments using Cisco routers and switches.
- Provide hands-on support for the Highview Imaging Application, including configuration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Support end users both remotely and on-site for hardware and packaged software issues across WAN environments.
- Manage Microsoft Windows 7/10 Pro, Office 2013 2019, and Office 365 cloud services.
Required Qualifications:
- Plan, design, and analyze data and telecommunications networks to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Implement and manage AWS-based solutions including backups and recovery operations.
- Monitor network health using analysis and management tools.
- Provide helpdesk/application support to over 300 users, ensuring high availability and user satisfaction.
- Maintain documentation, network diagrams, and operational manuals.
- 10+ yearsof experience in application development support within a multiuser Microsoft Windows environment.
- 10+ yearsof experience with Windows 7/10Pro, Office 2013 2019, and Office 365 cloud services.
- 7+ yearsof experience in network planning, design, implementation, and analysis.
- 5+ yearsof experience with AWS and data backup solutions.
- 5+ yearsof experience providing WAN-based hardware and software support.
- 5+ years of experience with Highview Imaging Application(required).
- Experience supporting networks for a minimum of 300 users.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco routers/switches and network management tools.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
