We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Senior Manager, IT Finance - Vendor Management to lead financial oversight and optimization of our IT vendor portfolio. This role will be instrumental in driving cost efficiency, contract performance, and financial transparency across technology investments. The ideal candidate combines deep financial acumen, contract evaluation expertise, and the ability to influence stakeholders across IT, Procurement, and Finance.

Responsibilities include:
  • Lead end-to-end financial oversight of IT vendor relationships, including cost modeling, risk assessment, and ROI analysis
  • Develop and maintain sophisticated Excel-based financial models to support forecasting, scenario planning, and vendor negotiations
  • Analyze complex contract structures to ensure alignment with financial objectives, performance commitments, and compliance standards
  • Serve as a key financial advisor to IT and business leaders, translating complex financial models into clear business insights
  • Partner with Procurement and IT teams to identify opportunities for cost savings, service consolidation, and contract optimization
  • Own and continuously improve vendor-related financial reporting, dashboards, and KPIs
  • Lead quarterly business reviews and present findings to senior leadership, highlighting spend trends, budget performance, and risk exposure
  • Mentor junior finance team members and foster a culture of analytical rigor and proactive problem-solving

Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in Finance, with at least 3 years in IT Finance or Vendor Management
  • 7+ years of proven expertise in Excel-based financial modeling, contract analysis, and scenario planning

Preferred Qualifications
  • Deep understanding of IT contracts, software licensing, cloud service pricing, and vendor performance metrics
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders and articulate financial concepts clearly
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Experience with financial tools (e.g., SAP and Apptio) and reporting platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)

Education

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field or equivalent (HS Diploma and 4 years of experience) required

Master's or MBA is a plus

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$75,400.00 - $182,549.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
