Project Manager- should have experience with managing corporate construction related projects or large video conferencing implementation or lifecycle projects is highly desired.
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to help manage a large-scale Video Conferencing deployment that includes multiple workstreams (lifecycle, new construction, remodels) across the company footprint.
The IT Project Manager (PM) Senior is accountable for the execution of complex Information Technology (IT) projects with high level of risk and complexity, and the execution of moderately complex IT Programs. The PM Senior employs their skills, talents, and knowledge of project management frameworks (e.g. Scrum, waterfall) to assure high quality products are delivered while optimizing the cost and delivery of value. The PM Senior maintains complete transparency on the current state of the project or program and maintains complete transparency on the forecast cost and delivery. The PM Senior enables stakeholders to make good business decisions based on project and program transparency. As necessary, the PM Senior provides coaching to project team members on the art of project execution as it pertains to the project management framework being utilized and can coach dysfunctional teams to a state of normal function. The PM Senior enables and promotes team level continuous improvement activities that increase quality and optimize delivery of value.
Essential Job Functions & Tasks:
Responsibilities include the following related to Video Conferencing:
Coordinate actions related to our rollout of MS Teams video conferencing solutions across a geographically dispersed organization
Communicate, plan and organize tasks related to the rollout
Track detailed project information from many inputs and format that information for easy consumption at executive levels.
Coordinate with support groups for electrical, network and construction events to ensure the necessary components are in place for each room
Coordinate with multiple external vendors to ensure timelines are met
Coordinate with General Contractors, subcontractors and corporate facilities project managers
Works independently to verify project scope and determine methods of managing and controlling
Plan, estimate, schedule and trend the project
Estimate, budget and control project cost
Develop, implement and manage quality assurance programs
Identify and manage project risk
Develop and manage procurement plans
