PH and Onsite Interview

  • Must have the following skills; Expert with MS SQL Server. Experience upgrading from 2012 to 2022. Experience locating and relieving locking and other resource issues. SSRS would be a plus.

T-SQL Side

  1. Able to quickly understand the DB structure to handle business requests
  2. Able to analyze data and present via PowerBI/Tabeleau type platforms.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a SQL DBA with knowledge of application and API development
  • The candidates must have equal measures of experience for SQL in both the infrastructure side and the coding side (T-SQL) for Microsoft SQL server.

Experience: 5+ years of experience as a SQL DBA with knowledge of application and API development.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong experience in writing and debugging complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
  • Expertise in implementing backup strategies and performing database restores.
  • Manage and maintain SQL Server databases, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.
  • Perform database migrations, upgrades, and patch management.
  • Some design and implementation of APIs for seamless communication between systems.
  • Experience with query optimization, index maintenance, execution plans, and troubleshooting bottlenecks.
  • Experience with SQL Server clustering, replication, log shipping, and Always On Availability Groups.
  • Ability to create, deploy, and troubleshoot ETL packages for data imports/exports. (SSIS: SQL Server Integration Services)
  • Ability to build and deploy reports as needed. (SSRS: SQL Server Reporting Services)
  • Proficient in developing, testing, and deploying C# applications using .NET/.NET Core.
