Job Details
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's in computer science, Information Systems, or closely related field of study; or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 10 years of software development experience and minimum 5 years of experience in team handling
- He/she should have experience in designing and developing applications using Java and other technologies.
- Technical Professional, with proven abilities in the areas of Java, Cloud, Mobile and other technologies development and implementation with preferably AI
- Strong experience in Agile and Scrum Methodologies
- Excellent customer facing skills that include conducting compelling technical briefing & demonstrations
- Experience solutioning for RFPs a plus
- Experience in the technical lead role overseeing a team of software development talent
- Practical expertise in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including Waterfall and Agile/SCRUM
- Excellent organizational skills, strong verbal and written communication abilities and a keen eye for detail. They must be able to deal with ambiguity.
- The role requires demonstrated ability to drive results and possess strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively work in an onsite-offshore model and manage multiple teams.
- Ability to prioritize, meet strict deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience of managing multiple customers across geographies.
Responsibilities
- Understand Technical requirements, review architecture, provide estimations and delivery timeline for the projects
- Research and Identify technologies best suited to define solution
- Prepare Powerpoint decks that provide solution details, architecture diagrams, technology stacks, pros/cons
- Lead technical discussions with Customer technology teams
- Perform technical POCs
- Manage resources across projects on Agile methodology to meet sprint timeline and release timeline.
- Oversee the daily tasks of technical personnel and address issues/bottlenecks
- Perform technical reviews and identify gaps, provide resolutions
- Establish relationship with multiple stakeholders, understand the requirements and ensure the team delivers.
- Conduct regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects.
- Research and evaluate hardware and software technology options and weigh the cost/benefit analysis to report to leadership for decision making.
- Understand infrastructure challenges and work with inter-departments for smooth execution of the projects.
- Develop status reports and provide regular updates to leadership.
- Maintain project budget, forecast and actuals.
- Interview technical resources to identify fit
