Position Description:

CIT is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed professional to fill the role of Software Developer. The ideal candidate has the ability to develop RESTful services and content enrichment flows to apply a variety of algorithms to enrich entities in an enterprise data warehouse. Additionally, the candidate with be maintaining the existing API's and flows and augmenting them to provide additional features and functionality. Configuring and enhancing the AWS platform on which the services are built. Debugging issues across the environments and supporting production issues. Work with the DevOps team to migrate the organization to a continuous integration/deployment model instead of major deliveries.

Required Qualifications:

Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering; or a combination of related work experience, technical training, and professional certifications.

Demonstrated experience in Java and Spring Framework - Spring Boot experience - Java Persistence API (JPA)

Significant experience with Linux

Experience developing Rest APIs - Swagger

Web Development Skills, familiarity with Angular and Javascript

Desired Qualifications:

Experience with Bash scripting

Knowledge of public Key Infrastructure (PKI)

Database skills o NoSQL:

MongoDB or Relational: Oracle, MySQL

Elasticsearch
