On-Site Representative - Automotive Overview
This position resides within the Adhesive Technologies business unit, where innovation drives transformation across industries.
As an On-Site Representative, you'll play a critical technical support role for automotive manufacturing operations by overseeing inventory tracking, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction.
You'll act as a visible, on-site liaison-attending customer meetings, troubleshooting product issues, and leading process improvement initiatives.
Your collaboration with Application Engineering ensures product performance meets or exceeds expectations.
This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in manufacturing, service delivery, and technical reporting who excel in high-visibility, customer-facing environments.
While technical service is the core focus, a foundational understanding of sales processes is also important.

Job Duties
Track shipments, monitor inventory, and usage of products
Conduct daily quality monitoring and data analysis; recommend process adjustments
Generate technical reports related to quality, service, maintenance, and other functions
Execute local sales plans (short, mid, long term) in line with strategic business unit goals
Attend all on-site customer meetings and maintain a visible, responsive presence
Adhere to all customer safety and quality protocols
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to uphold the company's reputation
Champion continuous improvement initiatives for year-over-year process enhancements
Coordinate with Application Engineering to conduct line trials and resolve product-related issues

Specific Details to Call Attention To
While the focus is on technical service and support, strong sales aptitude is also beneficial
On-site presence is required to engage with customer teams and resolve issues proactively
Must be proficient with MS Office tools and capable of producing detailed technical reports
