Program Manager with Banking Domain Exp. (Hybrid – NY, NY)

We are looking to hire a candidate with the skills sets mentioned and experience for a client within the financial industry. This is a Hybrid role out of NY, NY. MUST be local to New York City. Hybrid Schedule with at least 2 – 3 days onsite.

Job Summary/Key Responsibilities:

• This role will be executing a project with the Enterprise Data Management Office.
• Drive data management projects and programs (data acquisition, data reference, controls, quality, and remediation) in a hybrid execution environment. Structuring initiatives: project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation, and working across multiple functions and legal entities to structure and manage end-to-end project efforts through deep understanding of requirements, technologies, cross-functional impact, and business strategy.
• Manage execution of key initiatives through the full project life cycle from strategic project planning to delivery including development of target state business processes, build and adoption of technology solutions.
• Execute weekly status reporting, understand and maintain program’s RAID log, run daily and/or weekly working groups to support successful program delivery.
• Indirect oversight of program and project level resources including those provided by 3rd party providers.
• Provide appropriate information share and updates with senior management and other key stakeholders as well as ownership of key working group meetings.

Experience/Skills/Education:

• 15+ years of Program Management with Banking domain experience & excellent communication skills.
• BANKING DOMAIN with Data experience (MUST).
• Experience in Investment Banking, Wealth Management, Capital Markets, and Data Governance
• Experience with Data Visualization, Data Models, Data Processing, etc.
• Experience managing data-oriented projects and programs (MUST).
• Experience with Data Transformation projects in the data space (MUST).
• Requires experience with Data Transformation not with Digital Transformation because it is not the same. This is not a digital Program Manager.
• Strong experience in project management methodologies, strong skills in delivery management, stakeholder management, regulatory change management, risk management, and problem-solving.
• Experience running a Reference Data Management program is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), must be able to lead meetings, summarize, and articulate key points to provide clear direction and support to stakeholders and team members.
• Strong ability to adapt, prioritize, motivate to handle different leadership styles.
• This role will only consider Program managers’ profiles not Project managers’ profiles.

• Location: Hybrid – NYC, NY. At least 2 - 3 days onsite. MUST be local to New York City.
• Rate: $70 - $75/hour on C2C.
