Cloud Engineer
We are looking for a skilled Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure and services. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with cloud platforms, automation tools, infrastructure as code, and modern DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows.
Build Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep, or Pulumi.
Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
Manage cloud networking (VPC, subnets, routing, load balancers, firewalls).
Optimize cloud costs and ensure governance and compliance.
Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to support cloud-based applications.
Troubleshoot cloud services and production issues.
Implement security best practices including IAM, encryption, and network hardening.
Maintain documentation, runbooks, and architectural diagrams.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2–6+ years of experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
Strong experience with Linux/Windows server environments.
Hands-on experience with IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep).
Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
Good understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS/AKS/GKE).
Familiar with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Knowledge of monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, Stackdriver).
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Admin, Google Cloud Platform Associate Engineer).
Experience with serverless technologies (Lambda, Cloud Functions, Azure Functions).
Knowledge of Zero Trust, SOC2, and compliance frameworks.
Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
Familiarity with microservices architecture.
