Cloud Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure and services. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with cloud platforms, automation tools, infrastructure as code, and modern DevOps practices.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure.

  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows.

  • Build Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep, or Pulumi.

  • Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and disaster recovery.

  • Manage cloud networking (VPC, subnets, routing, load balancers, firewalls).

  • Optimize cloud costs and ensure governance and compliance.

  • Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to support cloud-based applications.

  • Troubleshoot cloud services and production issues.

  • Implement security best practices including IAM, encryption, and network hardening.

  • Maintain documentation, runbooks, and architectural diagrams.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 2–6+ years of experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).

  • Strong experience with Linux/Windows server environments.

  • Hands-on experience with IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep).

  • Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).

  • Good understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS/AKS/GKE).

  • Familiar with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

  • Knowledge of monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, Stackdriver).


Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Admin, Google Cloud Platform Associate Engineer).

  • Experience with serverless technologies (Lambda, Cloud Functions, Azure Functions).

  • Knowledge of Zero Trust, SOC2, and compliance frameworks.

  • Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).

  • Familiarity with microservices architecture.
