IT Program Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an IT Program Manager in Deerfield, IL.

Duties Include:
* Develop and execute cross-functional program plans and successfully deliver the expected business results for one or more strategic programs or initiatives
* Work with product managers, program executive sponsors, and targeted customers of a program to acquire a detailed understanding of the required business results
* Manage programs according to program baselines and plans that define schedules, funding, staffing, risks, and management approach to achieve program/project business results
* Responsible and accountable for the critical development aspects of a program including scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality, and cross-functional communication
* Assess and identify risks that might jeopardize successful achievement of a program, develop risk mitigation strategies, tactics, and implement risk mitigation plans
* Manage programs and execution utilizing best practices
* Identify training and development needs for program and project management staff
* Develop and improve templates, standards, and best practices for the PMO, and maintain comprehensive program documentation
* Manage internal resources, contractors, consultants, and other key program resources, for the effective execution of complex projects and programs
* Participate in the RFI/RFP, supplier selection, and contract negotiation where applicable

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Science/Business or a related field
* 8+ years of experience and track record in direct, program, and project management
* 6+ years of leadership experience in program/project management functions spanning companywide technology and complex Information Technology programs/projects
* 2-4 years of demonstrated track record including the ability to execute projects, acting as Scrum Master/Lead or an equivalent role
* Proven capabilities in developing strong program/project management teams
* Demonstrated experience in developing and managing budgets, doing financial projections, and tracking and assessing program costs

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
