This position serves as a liaison between mortgage business units and the Mortgage Solution Center. This includes communicating internal business needs, documenting requirements for mortgage division projects, testing implementation of requirements for mortgage division projects, coordinating technology resources, and researching and supporting the implementation of software related projects.
The expectations of this position are the ability to take on small tasks and collaborate into the larger efforts of work with a team. Senior team members will provide guidance and mentoring on the process and tools. The most important aspects of this role are learning the domain, embracing feedback and continuously improving.

Primary Duties:
- Serve as the liaison between the mortgage business unit(s) and Mortgage Solutions Center teams with coaching and teaching from senior team members.
- Assist project teams with identifying requirements, dependencies, risks, and issues.
- Communicate effectively with mortgage business unit(s) to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions with coaching and teaching from senior team members.
- Create mortgage business requirements documents, use cases, process diagrams, test cases, user stories, and user interface designs with coaching and teaching from senior team members.
- Assist in the implementation of new mortgage products, including working with customers to define a solution and ensure the solution meets their needs.
- Prepare test plans, coordinate system testing activities, and serve as a tester on projects with coaching and teaching from senior team members.
- Ensure policies and procedures are followed on assigned projects with coaching and teaching from senior team members.
- Collaborate with Mortgage Solution Center Trainers to create training materials and procedures as needed with coaching and teaching from senior team members.
- Complete tasks with coaching and/or teaching and collaborate with a team on larger efforts of work, following departmental procedures.
- Be receptive to guidance and mentoring from senior team members on processes and tools.
- Be responsible for learning the domain, embracing feedback, and continuously improving.
- Complete all assigned departmental and corporate training.
- Actively participate in department and team meetings, team building, and other events.
- Create and properly document work utilizing applicable internal and external systems in accordance with published procedures.
- Know by name and face as many customers and employees as possible, calling them by name as often as possible.

- Conduct activities consistent with established Bell Bank policies, procedures and systems, the Bell Bank Employee Conduct policies, the Bank Secrecy Act and all applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
- All employees are responsible for information security, including compliance with policies and standards which protect sensitive information.
Job Skills Required:
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of information technology, business analysis, and/or mortgage operations experience, or a combination of education and experience is preferred.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good meeting facilitation skills.
- Business process improvement and process modeling experience desired.
- Test planning and test case writing experience desired.
- Business, functional, and technical requirements elicitation and documentation experience strongly preferred.
- Individuals must be able to work in a team environment, have strong problem-solving skills, and be able to independently learn on-the-go.
- Being self-motivated and having a high attention to detail are a necessity.
- Good organization and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of and/or experience in basic database concepts, business applications, business analysis principles and a general understanding of technology.
