- Lead the development and delivery of IT security standards, best practices, architecture, and systems to ensure enterprise-wide information system security.
- Participate in advanced information security projects, focusing on complex and novel threats that bypass automated systems.
- Perform deep-dive threat hunting to proactively identify sophisticated, covert threats.
- Investigate, triage, and respond to security incidents, documenting findings and determining root causes.
- Conduct in-depth vulnerability assessments and analyze asset discovery data to identify security gaps.
- Design and implement advanced security solutions, including integrating threat intelligence platforms and technologies.
- Actively monitor networks for unauthorized activities and respond to security incidents.
- Evaluate, optimize, and recommend cybersecurity tools and processes (SIEM, EDR, IDS).
- Integrate and analyze threat intelligence feeds to enhance detection capabilities.
- Serve as a lead worker for projects and teams as needed.
- Ensure alignment of people, processes, and technology with the organization's desired security posture.
- Maintain high-level proficiency in cybersecurity, information systems, network monitoring, and security software.
- Demonstrate expertise in vulnerability management, incident response, and proactive threat defense.
- Support a hybrid work schedule and participate in on-call rotation or after-hours incident response as needed.
- Comply with all organizational and state-level background, tax, and legal requirements.
