Description

We are offering an opportunity for an Application Support Specialist to join our team in the oil and gas pipeline industry, located in Corona, CA. In this role, you will be leveraging your expertise in various business and construction management applications, particularly HCSS or similar software, to effectively align technology solutions with business operations.

Responsibilities:

Maintain deep knowledge of HCSS or similar construction management software, understanding their application in the construction industry for efficient project tracking, issue resolution, and operational enhancement.

Support other critical business applications such as Adobe Standard, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam, ensuring their seamless integration into business workflows.

Work closely with business units to align software use with business objectives, utilizing software capabilities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement.

Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing user support, focusing on maximizing the benefits of application functionalities in meeting business requirements.

Manage and audit licenses for HCSS, like software and other applications, to ensure compliance and cost-effectiveness.

Assess the training needs of various departments and teams, design and develop comprehensive training programs for different software applications, and create instructional materials including manuals, presentations, and online resources.

Conduct regular travels to various company locations for in-person user support and training

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience

Proven experience using AutoCAD and HCSS software

Demonstrated ability to implement training programs and strategies

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Demonstrated knowledge of latest industry trends and technologies

Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and prioritize tasks accordingly

Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Ability to travel as required for training sessions.
