Responsibilities

Job Summary:

The Sr Analyst-Cybersecurity, M&A/D will be responsible for cybersecurity IT support to the M&A/D cybersecurity tower. This position works closely with M&A/D cybersecurity specialists and program manager to support their role as cybersecurity consultant, navigator and auditor. This position reports to the Program Manager-Cybersecurity, M&A/D and frequently collaborates with other members of the M&A/D cybersecurity team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • M&A/D Cybersecurity IT Support
    • Obtain or generate reports to validate successful, secure and compliant M&A/D transitions
    • Provide M&A/D data to other members of the cybersecurity teams for security tools validation
    • Review, update or, at times, create documentation such as playbooks, checklists, knowledge based articles or processes
    • Create meetings, take minutes, ensure action items have achieved timely follow-up
  • Assist with identifying risks, establishing mitigation plans and controls
  • Be familiar with GRC, the CIA Triad, the 18 CIS Critical Security Controls, HIPAA and all other cybersecurity guiding principles
  • Assist with any auditing activities performed within the M&A/D cybersecurity program
    • Any other duties as assigned to support the M&A/D cybersecurity program

  • Communication & Time Management

    • Ability to effectively communicate with both internal key stakeholders and third parties, if necessary
    • Ability to manage requests from various platforms such as, email, chats and virtual meetings, including multi-tasking
    • Ability to participate in multiple daily meetings, prepare for and document discussions, identify action items and follow-up on the status of action items in a timely manner, if assigned

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Associate's degree or technical institute degree/certificate in Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a related field preferred

  • Experience:
    • 3+ years of experience in an IT related field
    • IT experience in mergers, acquisitions and divestitures (preferred)

  • Skills:
    • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, strong customer orientation, great organizational skills
    • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience working in demanding and challenging environments
    • Experience working in the healthcare industry (preferred)

  • Certifications:
    • Advanced certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor) are preferred
Requirements

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
