Job Description:

Client is seeking a Snowflake Data architect Data modelling and Data engineering. In this role, you will enable digital transformation for our clients in a global delivery model, research on technologies independently, recommend appropriate solutions and contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards. You will be responsible to interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle. Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Peoria, IL or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US
  • At least 10 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • At least 5 years of experience in data architecture, Data modelling and Data engineering.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake, AWS, Data modelling and Data engineering.
  • Designing and implementing Snowflake data warehouses and data lakes
  • Expertise in Snowflake performance tuning, query optimization, and resource management
  • Proficiency in Snowflake security features (RBAC, masking policies, row-level security)
  • Integration with external tools via Snowflake connectors and APIs
  • Strong understanding of AWS services (e.g., S3, Lambda, Glue, IAM, CloudWatch)
  • Experience with SnapLogic, ACE, or similar integration platforms
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data modeling techniques
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in cloud environments
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Manufacturing/ Banking/Financial domain and Functional knowledge in Sourcing and Procurement.

Experience in large scale cloud data migrations using Snowflake, Python, Spark, SQL

Sound knowledge of software engineering design patterns and practices

Good understanding of Agile software development frameworks

Strong communication and Analytical skills

Good to have experience in Azure/AWS Databricks

Ability to work in teams in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environment comprising of Business and Technology teams
