Rendering Engineer Mobile Gaussian Splatting
Remote | Full-time | Cutting-edge 3D Tech
We re looking for a sharp and inventive Rendering Engineer to help build a real-time Gaussian Splatting renderer targeting Unity on Meta Quest 3 and other mobile platforms. You'll optimize high-performance 3D visuals on low-power devices, working closely with our C++ core and ML teams to enable efficient streaming and rendering of massive datasets.
You ll be doing things like:
- Designing and optimizing mobile-first real-time rendering pipelines
- Writing performance-critical C++ rendering logic and integrating with Unity
- Collaborating with ML/data teams to shape splat data for fast streaming
- Pushing rendering to the edge on mobile GPUs, and potentially exploring Vulkan/Metal ports
What you bring:
- Strong C++ and real-time rendering background
- Mobile GPU performance optimization (VR/AR, Meta Quest, mobile phones)
- Shader programming (GLSL, HLSL, etc.)
- Experience with Unity or native rendering APIs (bonus for Vulkan/Metal)
