Description

We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Munster, Indiana. This is a long-term contract position where you will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations and upgrades across various locations. If you have a passion for technology and enjoy hands-on work with computer hardware, this opportunity is ideal for you.

Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive discovery and documentation of computer hardware and related equipment across multiple locations.
Collaborate with team leads to perform detailed asset management tasks, including data entry into Excel.
Execute building-by-building evaluations to ensure accurate tracking and inventory of all PCs and peripherals.
Participate in the deployment and upgrade of computer systems during the second phase of the project.
Troubleshoot hardware and configuration issues to maintain optimal system performance.
Ensure compliance with established standards for equipment management and documentation.
Provide technical support and guidance to end-users as needed during the project phases.
Assist with the implementation of configuration changes and updates to meet project objectives.
Monitor and report on progress to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
Maintain an organized and efficient workflow while working on multiple locations and systems.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in desktop support or a related field.
Proficiency in computer hardware troubleshooting and maintenance.
Familiarity with configuration management practices and tools.
Strong skills in data entry and Excel for asset documentation.
Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and follow project guidelines.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Willingness to travel to various locations as required.
Strong communication skills to interact with both technical staff and end-users.
