Role: Data Developer

Location: Louisville, KY (Permanent remote)

Type: Contract

Note: This position would require a data developer experienced in synthetic test data generation and process automation in HealthPlan EDI data space.

Job Description:

  • The Big Data Developer codes software applications based on business requirements. Work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.
  • The Big Data Developer standardizes the quality assurance procedure for software. Oversees testing and debugging and develops fixes. Researches complaints and makes necessary adjustments and/or recommendations to resolve complex software related issues.
  • Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

Required Skills:

  • 7+ year experience with Test Data Management and Synthetic/Artificial Test Data Generation tools, specifically GenRocket
  • Strong experience in API development to Integrate Applications
  • Highly proficient with Perl, JavaScript, Windows Batch/PowerShell Programming
  • Experience with Database Management SQL, Oracle and etc
  • Strong Knowledge of HealthPlan Member enrollment process (Medicaid, Medicare, Commercial) and Claim data (Medical\Dental\Vision)
  • Experience in handling EDI files for Member and Claims

Preferred:

  • Experience in Test Data tools Delphix, CA TDM, IBM Optim, Informatica
  • Project Management skills to handle the client for new requirements, estimation and resource allocation.
  • Experience in Agile\Kanban Management model
  • Knowledge of Database Refresh support activities
