ERP Manager

GENERAL FUNCTION:
- The ERP Manager role focuses on administering the organization's ERP system to facilitate reliable performance, integrity, and security. The ERP Manager provides technical, functional, and analytical support to end users, assists in developing standard and customized reports, and manages all testing, configuration, and changes within the Epicor ERP system
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:
- Manages the scope, schedule, budget, and implementation of all upgrades, changes, training, and improvements related to the ERP Epicor Kinetic and related subsets such as MRP, EDI, and reporting functions
- Manage and act as the point of contact for Epicor and any other 3rd party technical groups contracted to assist with integration or improvements as needed
- Troubleshoots and resolves any ERP-related hardware, software, user access, or other system issues
- Create internal documents and memos related to training and internal use procedures. Prepare and provide updates on the status of ERP-related projects as needed. Work with internal stakeholders, including Finance, Accounting, Materials, Purchasing, Human Resources, Operations, and IT, to assess their needs with the system
- Act as the Company's chief subject matter expert by resolving system issues, suggesting improvements, communicating risks to leadership, and developing, distributing, and training employees in standards and procedures
- Identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement within the ERP system, including training standards and processes
- Contribute to the design and delivery mechanism of custom reporting as requested by various user groups
- Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned, including projects or assignments to support the organization
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in IT, business administration, accounting, finance, or equivalent; and minimum of 5 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong understanding of Epicor Kinetic ERP, Power BI, and EDI
- Significant experience selecting and implementing 3rd-party BI reporting tools integrated with live ERP
- Understanding of Crystal Reports and migrations to Epicor Kinetic and Power BI
- History of navigating complex ERP systems and driving organizational success and change with documented deliverables
- Ability to communicate (verbal and written) technical information to non-technical stakeholders and effectively influence technology strategy at all levels of the organization
- The ability to communicate in Spanish is preferred but not required
- Ability to self-motivate, problem-solve, and work in a dynamic environment
- Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Office environment with occasional exposure to a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment where ambient air temperature can occasionally exceed outside air temperature
- Must sit and view a computer screen for extended periods
- Must be able to bend at the waist and knees, walk, and stand for extended periods
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus
- Must be flexible and able to change schedule and work hours to meet the organization's needs, including evenings and weekends
- Must be able to travel by land and air, including occasional international travel
