Job Title: Sr. Product Designer

This role is part of Widescope's Technology Product Management and Planning organization. This team manages the lifecycle of a specific product or product group from definition and planning through production, release, and retirement. It oversees the full product lifecycle with a technical focus, including strategy, design, development, and end-of-life of new, existing, or acquired products.
Team members in this role apply their expertise in interface design, user research, accessibility, and programming to develop products that deliver exceptional user experiences. This role requires a flexible skillset in process design and mapping, familiarity with front-end technologies, and the ability to engage with and earn the support of team members at all levels. Ideal candidates thrive in ambiguous environments and demonstrate ingenuity and resourcefulness.
Role Capabilities:

- Leads client projects and mentors colleagues on UX best practices
- Develops templates, patterns, and standards to support UX operations
- Identifies and resolves UX issues in products and services
- Presents designs and research findings to stakeholders
- Identifies and addresses gaps in documentation and procedures
- Recommends process improvements aligned with business objectives
- Evaluates and enhances business processes, removing redundancies
- Proposes multi-channel solutions
- Understands interdependencies and navigates them effectively
- Applies concepts of data science in operational contexts
- Shares technical knowledge with colleagues
- Gathers and analyzes data using appropriate methodologies
- Leverages external resources for data and insights
- Identifies decision points where data can guide strategy
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Portfolio demonstrating cross-channel expertise and user-centered design
- 5+ years experience in UX, interaction design, UI design, information architecture, content strategy, or similar
- 3+ years experience using user feedback (research, NPS, user data, etc.) to shape design
- 3+ years experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (Dev, Product, Ops, Sales, Marketing)
- 1 2 years experience leveraging analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau, Power BI) to drive design decisions
- 1 2 years experience in a senior design role
- 1+ year s experience using tools like Figma, Sketch, Miro, Adobe Creative Suite
- 1+ year s experience designing for inclusive audiences of all abilities
- 1+ year s experience working within Agile development environments
Preferred:
- Bachelor s degree in Human-Centered Design, Design, or related field
- Experience with HTML/CSS
- Familiarity with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
