Title: Senior Business Analyst

Location: Austin, TX (Onsite)

Client: Texas Health & Human Services Commission -(537601551)

Duration: 9+ Months

The primary work location will be 701 W. 51st, Austin, Texas 78751.

Position is ONSITE at the location listed above (NO REMOTE WORK). Program will only accept LOCAL ONLY candidates for this position (Within 50-mile radius).

Job Description:

This position is responsible for assisting with the facilitation and analysis across numerous related initiatives and leading special projects as assigned by agency leadership. These responsibilities include: developing business analysis tools; defining requirements; reporting progress on key projects to management; providing recommendations to agency leadership. This position will also work with staff to initiate, facilitate or participate in projects to maximize the success of multiple and diverse projects. Works under limited direction with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

Required skills:

10 Years of Ability to research, gather, assemble, correlate and analyze system requirements; to devise solutions to problems; and to prepare concise reports and/or to analyze and solve complex and difficult problems and prioritize information and issues.

10 Years of Ability to develop and present reports identifying gaps in functionality and operational effectiveness to executive stakeholders.

10 Years of Develops or contributes in the development of as-is / to-be process models to identify opportunities for greater operational efficiencies. Skilled in effectively mapping business processes and identifying process improvements and skilled in planning .

10 Years of Experience with the analysis of program policies and procedures to determine their effect on automated systems and system functional areas.

10 Years of Works with the functional teams to understand current and upcoming needs not currently met with existing processes and technology solutions.

Preferred skills:

5 Years of Experience creating strong relationships with project stakeholders. Must possess strong communication and presentation skills. Work with stakeholders to identify, define and document requirements

5 Years of Experience developing strategic and project SDLC materials, including gap analysis, recommendations, roadmaps, requirements, design documents, test cases, and use cases.

1 Year of Possess UX design experience
