• 13+ years' of hands-on experience designing and architecting cloud software solutions.
• 5+ years' experience in software engineering leadership roles, with a focus on backend development and infrastructure management.
• Strong technical background with experience in .NET development, microservices architecture, Kubernetes, and cloud technologies (Azure preferred).
• Proven track record of driving successful software development projects from inception to delivery in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Proficiency with relevant medical device standards such as IEC 62304, IEC 82304, and ISO 13485.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and SaaS solutions.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.

• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise to ensure the successful delivery of projects and initiatives.
• Mobile App Deployment: Oversee the maintenance of our production mobile app, ensuring high-quality code, optimal performance, and a seamless user experience across platforms.
• Infrastructure Management: Manage and optimize the Kubernetes infrastructure in Azure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security of our cloud-based services. 4. Backend Development: Contribute to, manage, and maintain our .NET backend microservices, leveraging best practices and modern technologies to enhance agility and scalability.
• Build Management: Ensure the quality and consistency of the build systems that build our mobile apps, microservices, NuGet packages, and Kubernetes environments.
• Security and Access Control: Enable successful security scanning an monitoring of all code from build time to post deployment monitoring. Grant access and revoke access to the various tools used by the department.
• SaaS Vendor Management: Manage relationships with SaaS vendors, including contract negotiation, service level agreement (SLA) monitoring, and ensuring alignment with business requirements and objectives.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with architects, product management, quality assurance, and other cross-functional teams to refine requirements, prioritize initiatives, and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement, implementing best practices, optimizing processes, and fostering innovation to drive efficiency and excellence in software development and infrastructure management.
• Documentation: Ensure accurate and thorough documentation exists and is kept up to date for all microservices and infrastructure components.
