Job Description
We re looking for a Technical Business Analyst with a passion for developer experience and engineering performance metrics to join a forward-thinking team focused on improving software delivery across the IT division.
This role is ideal for someone who understands how metrics like DORA, cycle time, and PR throughput can uncover bottlenecks and drive meaningful improvements. You ll work closely with engineering teams and leadership to analyze data, enhance internal platforms, and guide strategic decisions.
What You ll Do
- Implement and maintain software delivery performance metrics using tools like LinearB, Sleuth, or custom dashboards
- Analyze engineering KPIs to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with engineering leadership to define success metrics and reporting cadences
- Support development of intuitive self-service tools for infrastructure provisioning, CI/CD setup, and environment management
- Conduct analysis on internal platforms such as Mulesoft, Amplify, and Backstage to guide enhancement decisions
- Create and maintain developer documentation and onboarding guides
- Lead demos and training sessions to explain engineering metrics and tooling benefits
Required Skills:
- Experience with Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) like Backstage
- Familiarity with engineering analytics platforms (e.g., LinearB, Jellyfish, Haystack)
- Understanding of developer tooling ecosystems (IDEs, Git workflows, CI/CD)
- Strong product thinking and empathy for developer workflows
- Ability to measure and improve developer productivity using telemetry and feedback
- Experience configuring and analyzing SaaS platforms
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
