Description

The Network Site Coordinator position will provide technical assistance and assesment of desginated NYS OMH facilities via the NYS ITS Network Site Consultation process. This will include but not limited to circuit bandwidth, Voice Over IP (VoIP) phone system upgrades and wireless upgrades. The position will require travel to complete the physical site assessments.

Duties

  • The consultant will work on equipment installation, relocation and removal.
  • The consultant will be working on VOIP phones, WAPS, and data communications equipment for supporting the NYS Office of Mental Health (OMH).
  • The consultant will participate in the planning and execution of all phases of project including: request analysis, site surveys, site preparation, cable troubleshooting and installation, asset management, inventory control, and network assistance.
  • Knowledge of network equipment is required.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Experience (10+ Years)
  • Works in the field of Information Technology, experienced in the usage and support of a collection of development platforms, technical architectures or business applications and products that run on those platforms - beyond that of a Programmer.

Requirements

  • This is an 100% Onsite.
  • 60 Months of Experience installing/troubleshooting PCs and Printers.
  • 60 Months of Experience installing/troubleshooting servers.
  • 12 Months of Experience installing/troubleshooting VOIP phones.
  • 60 Months of Experience installing/troubleshooting data communications equipment.
  • 60 Months of Experience conducting technical site surveys.
  • 60 Months of Experience data cable installation/troubleshooting.
  • 36 Months of Experience conducting inventory control.
  • 36 Months of Experience in desktop support.
