Position: Enterprise Architect Cloud Transformation
Location: 100% Remote
Type: Contract
Open to any VISA - W2/1099/C2C
Key Responsibilities
Define program-level architecture frameworks, standards, patterns, and best practices.
Lead and mentor workstream architects, guiding cloud adoption and architecture excellence.
Develop cloud reference architectures (application, infrastructure, integration, security).
Drive architecture decisions with trade-off analysis balancing business and IT constraints.
Establish reusable cloud solution patterns for infrastructure, integration, monitoring, security, and applications.
Act as a change agent for cloud-native adoption and workforce modernization.
Translate business goals into scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
Define operational processes to govern and manage cloud services at scale.
Collaborate with business and technology leaders, vendors, and stakeholders to align solutions with enterprise strategy.
Required Skills & Experience
15+ years in Business Analysis, Systems Design/Engineering, or Technical Architecture, with 5+ years in Enterprise Architect roles.
Proven experience leading large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives.
Expertise in at least two domains: application, infrastructure, integration, or security architecture.
Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (Azure a plus).
Proficiency in Terraform (IaC) and cloud networking (VPNs, load balancers, firewalls).
Strong knowledge of FinOps concepts and cloud cost optimization.
Experience with modern API architectures and integration best practices.
Familiarity with cloud security, compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Proficiency with architecture modeling tools (ArchiMate, Visio, Miro).
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Architect.
Knowledge of SAFe Agile and TOGAF principles.
Experience in multi-cloud / hybrid-cloud environments (AWS + Google Cloud Platform preferred).
Hands-on with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud monitoring tools (Datadog, Splunk, Dynatrace).
Background in healthcare or PBM architectures.
