Job Details

Aloha! One of Hawaii's largest and oldest banks is seeking a Senior Security Architect. The Senior Security Architect supports the strategic development and integration of security controls in a hybrid on-premise and cloud environment (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS, etc.) managed by the bank. Supports the Security Architecture & Operations team in the implementation of secure business solutions by working with technical and business unit leads to integrate with the bank's on-premise infrastructure and/or cloud technology stack. Responsible for defining and executing the bank's strategy for secure cloud services delivery.
Job Description
1. Provide material contributions to the development of security focused network designs, process flowcharts, dependencies, budget, resourcing, and project plans as needed to support new hybrid on-prem and cloud business services implementations. Ensure compliance with established security standards, and update and develop new standards as needed. (30%)
2. Analyzes the current architecture to identify weaknesses and to develop opportunities for improvements. Participates in development of risk-based security technology roadmap and technology strategy for the information security organization. (20%)
3. Provide security architecture change management review and recommendation of proposed technical changes to the bank's hybrid cloud infrastructure via the bank's established change management process. (10%)
4. Understand the governance and regulatory requirements the organization must be compliant with, and the associated controls required to comply with them, including these as requirements in the assessments and any architectural guidance provided. (20%)
5. Works closely with corporate architecture teams to ensure that security strategy and corporate information technology strategy are complementary. Participates in technical and business discussions relative to future security strategy; aligns architectural strategy with business goals and emerging threat landscape; represents information security on applicable technology governance committees. (10%)
6. Serves as business architecture subject matter expert for information security team; coaches peers and stakeholders on integrating security information strategic and tactical decisions (10%)
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Preferred Security and Technical Certifications: Cloud security certifications (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure), SSCP, Security+, GSEC, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP) and/or other related Cybersecurity certifications.
2 years' experience with AWS; and
5 years' experience in IT infrastructure architecture (cloud, routing, switching, WAN/LAN, virtualization, systems engineering, scripting, etc.); and
5 years' experience in security engineering and security architecting
Demonstrated experience engineering and architecting complex IT infrastructure solutions.
Demonstrated experience managing and implementing cybersecurity frameworks and concepts operationally.
Work Environment
This position can sit fully remote but must be able to work HST. (Candidates who are located PST, MST are preferred.)

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $145000.00/yr.
